| Episode Narrative | Showers and thunderstorms developed along a warm front ahead of an approaching upper level short-wave trough in an area of elevated low to mid level vorticity. Multiple funnel clouds developed, with one touching down and becoming a brief tornado near White Shield in McLean County. The tornado did not impact any structures. There was no damage to evaluate and so by National Weather Service policy the tornado is rated EF Unknown. |
