World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Resolution 40 NOAA Policy
NCDC data and products that contain international data may have conditions placed on their international commercial use. They can be used within the United States or for noncommercial international activities without restriction. Redistribution of these data by others must provide this same notification. The non-U.S. data cannot be redistributed for commercial purposes. For details, please consult the WMO policy.

All online data are now free to access and download for all customers. In addition, customers can order a variety of items such as CD-ROMs, DVDs, and posters through the Online Store. The Online Store also provides service for our partner Data Centers—the National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC) and the the National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC)—and their products.
NOTE: Most offline services require an additional charge. Prepayment is required, and your customer service representative will inform you of the cost. NCDC accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, wire transfers, and Automated Clearing House. Please refer to the NNDC Non-Federal Customer Payment Policy for additional information.

Most states require records that are submitted as evidence in a court of law to be authenticated in some way. To accommodate this requirement, NCDC offers Department of Commerce certification of the data maintained in our archives. See the Certification of Data page for further information.
