Episode Narrative Supercell thunderstorms developed on a southwest to northeast orientated front across southwest Iowa. The thunderstorms produced two tornado touchdowns, one near Shenandoah and the other near Red Oak. No damage was reported. Also the thunderstorms produced locally heavy rainfall amounts with 2.5 inches reported in Oakland.
Event Narrative A brief tornado was reported by a storm chaser.
