Episode Narrative Multiple spotters were tracking a supercell thunderstorm near the Wyoming and South Dakota border along the Weston and Niobrara County line on the 3rd. The rotating thunderstorm produced a visible funnel cloud that over the course of seventeen minutes lifted and dropped off the ground producing possible several tornado touchdown points. Given no reports of any structural damage or distinctive elements for a quality survey, tornado rating will remain unknown.
Event Narrative Supercell thunderstorm produced rotating wall cloud and associated funnel cloud that over the course of seventeen minutes produced multiple touchdown points as relayed from the Rapid City NWS office. Given the lack of damage reports and ground disturbance, no survey was formally conducted leaving the rating and relevant stats as unknown.
