| Episode Narrative | Mini-supercells developed in a narrow corridor of weak surface based instability and effective helicities around 50-100 m2/s2. These parameters would typically be considered quite weak for Iowa but given it was the end of November, these values were decent and assisted by good dynamics. Five tornadoes occurred during the afternoon, many with intermittent tracks but with plenty of spotter reports and visual evidence to substatiate their occurrence. |
