Episode Narrative A cold front moved across the region and interacted with a moist and unstable airmass to produce numerous showers and thunderstorms. A few storms became severe across East Arkansas producing large hail and damaging winds.
Event Narrative Straight line winds blew an awning across the parking lot and snapped a power pole at a truck stop located along Interstate 40 in Wheatley near mile marker 221.
