Episode Narrative Severe thunderstorms developed before noon in a favorable environment over north-central Wyoming. The storms eventually developed farther to the east on either side of the Bighorn Mountains. One storm spawned a weak tornado over open country in eastern Park County. Another storm eventually produced large hail near Ten Sleep, while smaller hail fell in southern Johnson County.
Event Narrative The Park County Sheriffs Office reported a weak tornado east of State Highway 120 between Cody and Meeteetse, and north of the Greybull River. The tornado was seen and photographed from several vantage points as it traveled east-northeast near the Y-U Bench.
