Episode Narrative With the remnant low of the Hurricane Isaac centered over southwestern Missouri, numerous showers and thunderstorms developed and rotated cyclonically around the remnant low. A few of the thunderstorms produced brief spinup tornadoes.
Event Narrative A tornado briefly touched down on the north end of Chouteau Island...north of Interstate 270. No damage was reported.
