U.S. Drought Monitor Update for October 16, 2012
According to the October 16, 2012 U.S. Drought Monitor, moderate to exceptional drought covers 62.4% of the contiguous United States. This is down from 63.6% last week. Exceptional drought also decreased from 6.2% to 5.8%.
