Severe thunderstorms generated over the northwest mountains and moved northeast across nearby valleys and basins. |
| Event Narrative |
A brief tornado occurred just north of the central business district in Dubois. A roof was torn from a public restroom facility and subsequently sheared off an 8x8-inch pole used for a sign at a local business. Flying debris also smashed a large window at a nearby residence. The broken glass slightly injured one woman in the home. |
