Episode Narrative Thunderstorms produced as much as 3 inches of rain in three hours during the late evening and early morning of June 11-12. Hardest hit was the Austin area, where flooding affected most of the city. In fact, people were rescued from vehicles submerged in high water. In addition, a section of Interstate 90 was closed due to high water.
Event Narrative Several roads in Hayfield were under water. Evacuations occurred on the south side of Hayfield near the high school due to high water.
