| Episode Narrative |
Thunderstorms produced as much as 3 inches of rain in three hours during the late evening and early morning of June 11-12. Hardest hit was the Austin area, where flooding affected most of the city. In fact, people were rescued from vehicles submerged in high water. In addition, a section of Interstate 90 was closed due to high water. |
| Event Narrative |
Flooding, which began as an urban problem, was reported all over the city of Austin with cars submerged, manhole covers blown off, and needed rescues for stranded drivers. Some roads in the county were also flooded. |
