| Episode Narrative | As La Nina weakened during the month of March, the area received close to 84 percent of normal rainfall. This allowed drought conditions to improve across Virginia. Extreme (D3)drought conditions in the southeast corner of the region improved to severe (D2) drought conditions. Severe (D2) drought conditions only remained across far southern Virginia by the end of March. |
