Episode Narrative An upper level low over Arizona brought significant amounts of moisture into the area from the Pacific. At the surface a warm front lifted north through the area providing a boundary on which convective storms could develop. With the abundant moisture and the training nature of storms, flash flooding was a big risk and a flash flood watch was issued by the Midland Weather Forecast Office.
Event Narrative The Eddy County Sheriff's Office reported penny size hail falling at the intersection of New Mexico Highway 31 and New Mexico Highway 128.
