| Episode Narrative | Much above normal rainfall during the early and middle parts of the month brought an end to a long period of severe drought (D2) conditions across northern Wisconsin. Total rainfall for the month was 150% to 200% of normal in that part of the state with most locations receiving 3 to 5 inches of rain. The USDA approved a request by the Governor of Wisconsin for a federal disaster declaration in 42 counties due to the drought. The northeast Wisconsin continues included in the declaration were Brown, Calumet, Door, Florence, Forest, Kewaunee, Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto, Oneida, Outagamie, Portage, Shawano, Vilas, Waushara and Wood. |
