| Episode Narrative | A winter storm system ejecting out of the Southwestern U.S. moved slowly across Western and North Central Nebraska on December 7th and 8th. As the initial disturbance passed across, snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches fell across portions of Western Nebraska during the afternoon and evening of December 7th. Light snow accumulations less than an inch along with areas of freezing rain and sleet occurred across the remainder of the area. As the main upper level system passed across Western and North Central Nebraska on December 8th, additional snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches occurred, bring storm total snowfall amounts up to 9 inches in Garden county, and 6 to 7 inches across Grant, Arthur, McPherson, Deuel, and Keith County. |
