Episode Narrative Heavy rain caused flash flooding in northern Gila and southern Navajo Counties.
Event Narrative A large area of thunderstorms caused flash flooding from heavy rain across Navajo County from Cibecue to Snowflake. Highway 277 near Snowflake was a lake and several homes were flooded in Snowflake. Cottonwood Wash was over its banks just west of Snowflake. Paper Mill Road was flooded in Snowflake. Highway 60 was close due to a flash flood induced rock slide. Washes were running very high in Cibecue with several roads closed. Cibecue Wash was running 10 feet is normally less than a foot deep.
