| Episode Narrative | A slow moving cold front provided the lift mechanism needed for strong thunderstorms, heavy rain and flooding. |
| Event Narrative | As much as two to three feet of water reported across streets in town. Approximately four feet of water beneath an underpass in town on 1st Avenue South. Water filled much of the county fairgrounds. A spotter measured 7.75 inches rain over a 24 hour period ending at 1630 CST August 19. |
