Episode Narrative The deep monsoonal moisture that moved into Utah at the end of August remained in place for the beginning of September. This moist airmass produced widespread showers and thunderstorms, with several of them becoming severe or producing flash floods.
Event Narrative Heavy rain over the Clay Springs burn scar caused a debris flow on the afternoon of September 1st. Three homes in the Fools Creek area were flooded, and portions of Highway 125 were damaged by the water and mud.
