As a sharpening Piedmont Trough interacted with remnant outflow/vorticity maximum, convection was triggered over the North Carolina mountains and the South Carolina Piedmont. As some of these storms moved into better instability that was located over the Southern Piedmont of North Carolina, some isolated wind damage was reported. |
