Episode Narrative Late in the evening on the 6th, an area of surface low pressure was located in north central South Dakota, with a warm front arching into extreme northeast South Dakota and then into southwest Minnesota. The low level jetstream increased in the late evening, causing showers and thunderstorms to form north of the warm front.
