| Episode Narrative |
Typical July moisture with surface dew points in the low 70s over the Piedmont was present ahead of a warm front as strong afternoon heating helped to destabilize the air mass. Scattered storms broke out ahead of a southeastward advancing upper level storm system with marginally favorable wind shear able to organize a few severe thunderstorm cells. |
| Event Narrative |
Two trees were reported down near Highway 58 east of Martinsville. |
