Episode Narrative A weak midlevel trough drifted across the southern Appalachians and along with a weak surface front helped to initiate a few severe pulse-type thunderstorms. Severe wind gusts were the main feature of these storms.
Event Narrative County sheriffs office reported five trees blown down near the intersection of Highway 62 and Burton Chapel Road.
