Clusters of strong thunderstorms developed during the mid to late afternoon hours. Lightning killed one male at his residence in Madison County. Many of the storms produced frequent cloud to ground lightning, small hail and gusty winds. The lightning sparked several fires around the area, one causing severe damage to a home in Madison County. |
