| Episode Narrative |
A weak back door cold front pushed into the state ushering in lower level moisture and creating a favorable environment for afternoon shower and thunderstorm development. The western and central mountains were among the favored regions for initial development with thunderstorms drifting over the adjacent valleys and plains during the afternoon. Precipitatble water values over an inch increased the flash flooding potential across the Little Bear Fire burn scar in south central NM and across portions of central NM. |
| Event Narrative |
Law enforcement from Socorro County reported two deputies were stranded along U.S. Highway 60 due to flooding. |
