A back door cold front moved into the region and combined with monsoon moisture that was lingering in the region to produce thunderstorms. A weak disturbance embedded in the northwest flow aloft added to the instability across the region. |

Thunderstorms produced flooding along Stern Drive just east of Mesquite, NM. Reports of a water rescue were reported by the Dona Ana County Emergency Manager at this location. |
