| Episode Narrative |
Upper level high pressure was centered over New Mexico resulting in very light and erratic steering winds aloft. This coupled with sufficient moisture helped aid in the development of slow-moving thunderstorms over and near the central mountain chain and western high terrain. |
| Event Narrative |
The Rio Ruidoso was reported to be out of its banks along U.S. Highway 70 at Fox Cave. |
