A backdoor cold front dropped into northeast New Mexico, which resulted in scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms across the east-central and southeast plains into the evening hours. Thunderstorms that developed during the afternoon over the higher terrain drifted southward into the eastern plains into the evening. |
