A broken line of strong thunderstorms developed across southern Indiana during the afternoon of August 9th. Storms initiated along an east west orientated outflow boundary left over from convection earlier in the morning. By late afternoon, these storms moved southeast into the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky. The strongest storms produced isolated damaging winds. |
