Episode Narrative A large mesoscale convective system moved southward across the area during the late evening and overnight hours of July 1st. Strong instability was present with observed SBCAPE values around 5,000 j/kg on 00z soundings. This contributed to the MCS lasting unusually late into the night with damaging winds.
Event Narrative A tree was blown down across County Road 643 just off of County Road 636. Monetary damage was estimated.
