A man was injured north of Lander when lightning struck near him. |
| Event Narrative |
Lightning injured a 25-year-old man when it struck next to him as he was helping set a manufactured home north of Lander. The man was on his hands and knees on wet ground when the bolt struck near him and traveled through his body around 1300MST. The bolt exited his back leaving a large blister and he was hospitalized for three days as a result. After returning home the man was still experiencing chest pain, blurry eyesight, and pain in his extremities. |
