Decent moisture instability across northeast NM along with steep lapse rates and dewpoints in the 50's set up northeast and north central portions of the state for increased chances for convection. Storms that had developed in Colorado and had been hugging the border finally entered NM in the late evening hours and proceeded east into the early morning. |
