| Episode Narrative |
During the evening of the 18th, a cold front set up along a line from central South Dakota through Hillsboro to near the Lake of the Woods. With a mid level trough over the Rockies and a ridge over the Great Lakes, this boundary did not move much through the evening. Several upper level disturbances ejecting out of the southwest flow helped initiate several thunderstorms that produced damaging winds and large hail. |
| Event Narrative |
Nickel to quarter sized hail fell with gusty winds. Some garden damage was reported. |
