| Episode Narrative | While some portions of Texas mainly from San Antonio to Dallas and points east and southeast, including Houston, rainfall was scarce across the Rio Grande Valley, adding up to a quarter inch or less for most locations. Crops and livestock continued to suffer through the month. Welcome rain in December for some was overwhelmed by dry and cool weather with scattered freezes for the first half of January, with warm, humid, but rain free weather dominating the second half. |
