| Episode Narrative | A short wave trough was a catalyst for convection just west of the forecast area in the late afternoon. The convection became organized and progressed toward the coast through the evening, with numerous boundary interactions taking place while this occurred. The airmass was unstable with steep low-level lapse rates and favorable DCAPE values supportive of strong downdrafts. |
