| Episode Narrative | Another weak upper level storm system under a ride of high pressure aloft, moved out of West Virginia into our area during the afternoon. This combined with a trough of low pressure in the Piedmont helped trigger afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Enough instability was present for a few of these to become severe. |
