Episode Narrative Thunderstorms developed over southeast Oklahoma, and a few of the storms produced large hail up to half-dollar size. The severe storms were mainly confined to Coal, Atoka, and Bryan counties. Further northwest, thunderstorms that developed over the high plains of Colorado and western Kansas moved into northwest Oklahoma just before midnight. A thunderstorm wind gust to 61 mph was measured west of Woodward.
