| Episode Narrative |
A thunderstorm slowing moving to the northeast, dropped significant amounts of rain between Ruidoso and Glencoe. The most significant precipitation missed the White Fire burn scar to the south, though, up to an inch of rain may have impacted the scar itself. The worst flooding was within the town of Ruidoso Downs, rather than downstream of the White Fire burn scar. Other flash flooding was reported downstream of the Las Conchas burn scar. A creek with rushing water and debris went out of its banks near Dixon Apple Orchard. This was not the first time water and debris had filled the creek, but it is the first time the creek overflowed. |
| Event Narrative |
A creek that parallels Dixon Apple Orchard overflowed with rushing water and debris. It likely did not rain at this location, rather heavy rains fell on the southern portion of the Las Conchas burn scar, and runoff quickly moved down the canyons. Radar estimated between one and two inches of rain fell. |
