Heavy rain-producing showers and thunderstorms moved across parts of southeast Iowa, northeast Missouri, and western Illinois during the late evening of June 14 and early morning of June 15. This additional heavy rain fell only a day to two days after the area received heavy rains of 4 to 8 inches. Flash flooding and flooding resulted yet again across the affected areas. |

Heavy rains caused some flash flooding in and east of Carthage, IL during the early morning of June 15. Several city streets were closed due to flooding. A portion of Highway 336/Highway 136 was closed due to water flowing over all four lanes near County Road 2500. |
