| Episode Narrative |
A vertically stacked low pressure system tracked into western North Dakota. Meanwhile, at the surface, an occluded front curved out to the east and south from near Minot to Fargo (ND) to Morris (MN). Some afternoon sun over portions of northern South Dakota helped spawn scattered late afternoon and early evening thunderstorms. |
| Event Narrative |
Dime to quarter sized hail fell along with heavy rains and strong winds. Some small branches were broken down and lawn chairs were blown around in a farm yard. |
