Episode Narrative The first extended warm spell of the season produced an active period of snowmelt from an historic snowpack in the western Bighorn Mountains. As a result, waterways in and near the foothills of the Bighorn Mountains rose rapidly causing flooding in Big Horn and Washakie counties.
Event Narrative The waters of Tensleep Creek rose rapidly during the early morning hours of Friday, June 24. The basements of several homes east of Ten Sleep were impacted by the flood waters.
