Event Narrative An unusually strong dust devil developed west of the Globe city limits during the late morning hours of July 6th. The dust devil formed in the Central Heights area, a subdivision between Globe and Miami. According to an article in the Copper Country News, the dust devil collapsed an above ground pool. The water from the pool then brought down a concrete and rock retaining wall. The wall collapsed on top of a car, crushing and severely damaging the car.
