Two wildfires in Hartley County merged into one wildfire and began around 1600 CST about fifteen miles west of Channing Texas. The wildfire was located near County Road 47 and Farm to Market Road 767 and consumed a measured twelve thousand four hundred and thirty-four acres which was mapped using GPS. There were no reports of damages or injuries and no structures were threatened. The wildfire was contained about approximately 0940 CST on April 10. |
