| Episode Narrative |
A cool upper-level trough engulfing much of the western CONUS coupled with sufficient surface heating the afternoon of May 29th supplied enough instability to generate isolated thunderstorms across the Washington Palouse. One of the stronger cells that tracked between Pullman and Colton produced a large rope-like funnel cloud which several trained spotters observed. |
| Event Narrative |
Several trained spotters viewed a large rope-like funnel cloud attached to a storm that moved from approximately five miles north of Colton toward the town of Pullman. |
