| Episode Narrative |
An upper level low pressure system moving across the region ushered in colder temperatures and even a few mountain snow showers. Strong winds accompanied this colder air, and these winds were able to mix down to the surface on Saturday the 2nd, resulting in scattered wind damage. |
| Event Narrative |
Estimated winds of up to 50 MPH caused a tree to fall over power lines in Ferrum. This knocked power out to 2200 customers and also started a small brush fire. |
