Episode Narrative A squall line on April 23 caused flooding on the main stem of the Ohio River, along with another round of flooding on some tributaries of the Ohio. Many area rivers would remain in flood through the end of the month, with flooding continuing into May.
Event Narrative The Licking River at Blue Licks Spring crested around 32.1 feet at 545 AM EST on April 24. Flood stage at Blue Licks Spring is 25 feet. Cultivated crop land is flooded at this level.
