The flooding that began in late March along the Mississippi River for some southeast Minnesota locations, continued into April. The flooding was caused by a combination of melting snow and rains in late March and early April. |

Mississippi River flooding at Wabasha that began in late March, continued through much of April. The river crested almost three feet above the flood stage at 14.89 feet on the 14th and did not recede into its banks until the 24th. |
