Episode Narrative Low pressure tracked up the Mid-Atlantic Coast spreading rain across most of West Virginia early on the 6th. As the low passed by to the east, colder air was drawn into the system causing rain to mix with and eventually change to snow before ending early on the 7th. The heaviest snow amounts were across the higher elevations.
Event Narrative Snowfall totaled up to 3.3 inches near Moorefield.
