Episode Narrative The combination of melting snow and some rainfall pushed some northeast Iowa rivers out of their banks during the latter half of the month.
Event Narrative The combination of rainfall and melting snow pushed the Turkey River at Elkader out of its banks. The river exceeded the flood stage for a short period on the 23rd. The river crested less than a quarter of a foot over the flood stage at 12.14 feet.
