Episode Narrative In the early morning hours of the 9th, a cluster of elevated thundestorms moved from eastern South Dakota into western Minnesota. One storm dropped large hail near Norcross in Grant County, which was the first severe thunderstorm event of the season.
Event Narrative After the storm passed there were drifts of hail several inches deep in one yard.
